Allison Lindsey Cheshire Zachary William Thor

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cheshire of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Lindsey Cheshire, to Zachary William Thor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Thor of Lakeland, Florida.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. H.R. (Bill) Cheshire of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Chris Timmons of Fayetteville, Georgia. Ally is a graduate of Bulloch Academy and the University of Georgia, holding a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy at Augusta University.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Donald Thor of Lakeland, Florida, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dubois of New Paltz, New York. Zach is a graduate of the University of Georgia, holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army upon graduation. He is attached to the 3rd ID at Fort Stewart in Hinesville, Georgia.

The couple will marry on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Statesboro First United Methodist Church.
