Police report - 8-23-14; A man was arrested for shoplifting six pairs of Polo socks.

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
➤ Arrests
    ▲ Ambrielle S. Douglas, 22, President Circle — DUI, failure to maintain lane.
    ▲ Elijah Jasper, 45, Wellwood Drive, Savannah — felony theft by shoplifting, possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ MIKE ANN DRIVE — Police on patrol observed two men yell, lock arms and then drop to the ground, fighting, around 1 a.m. Friday. Neither was arrested.
    ▲ MATHEWS ROAD — Someone stole $23,000 worth of wiring and an air conditioner worth about $3,000  from Ginn Company sometime between July 30 and Wednesday. A man reported the theft around 10 a.m. Thursday.
    ▲ SOMERSET APARTMENTS — Someone told police around 8 p.m. Thursday that a silver 2000 Lincoln Town Car was stolen. She listed a suspect and said she believed he took the car out of state.
    ▲ BELK — A man was arrested around 5:20 p.m. Thursday for shoplifting six pairs of Polo socks valued at $100 and nine Polo dress shirts valued at $805.
    ▲ CAMPUS CROSSINGS — Two complainants told police around 9:30 p.m. Thursday that two men forced them to the floor and robbed them of cash and a cellphone at gunpoint.
    In a separate incident, police responded to a domestic dispute between two women around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday. The women fought physically, and each was advised of the warrant process.

    ▲ William Daniel Mitchell, 44, Caddie Green Road, Claxton — methamphetamine possession.
    ▲ Bradley Arthur Denning, 43, Tony Road, Metter — suspended license.
    ▲ Shearhouse Dowling, 23, Allison Lane — selling or furnishing weapons to persons under 18, participating in criminal gang activity.
    ▲ Dontavius Edward Jones, 23, Statesboro Highway, Sylvania — possession of a drug-related object, marijuana possession.
    ▲ Fredondra Anae Holloway, 28, Lanier Drive — possession of a drug-related object, marijuana possession.
    ▲ Priscilla Joann Watson, 33, Hawkinsville Highway, Macon — public intoxication, disorderly conduct.
    ▲ Kail Corbin Griffin, 24, Honey Road, Sylvania — probation violation.
