Editor's note: Because of incorrect information supplied, the time of the wreck and the location from which the victim was returning were incorrect in a brief that appeared in Wednesday's newspaper. The entire brief, with the correct information, appears below.

A Sylvania woman was killed Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on Poor Robin Landing Road.

Tiffany W. Shade Brannen, 27, of Robin Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Georgia State Patrol reports.

Screven County Coroner James Strickland said Brannen and her boyfriend were returning from a trip to the Savannah River when the accident occurred. GSP reports list the crash as taking place around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

The vehicle left the road, and its passenger side struck a tree. Brannen was a passenger and suffered blunt force trauma to the head, Strickland said.

The accident is being investigated by the GSP Specialized Crash Reconstruction Team.
