Southeast Bulloch High and Middle schools have proposed a dress code policy that is more specific in what students can and cannot wear. Is this a good idea?

It would definitely stop alot of conflict...but you know you will have those that think you are violating their rights as a free American...if your going to put dress codes in just as well have school it will be fair across the board and the only discussion you will have...will be between the parents and the B.O.E. about who is going to pay for the uniforms...???

I think it's a great idea. The uniform that they'll be enforcing won't be a strict uniform and it will still allow jeans. As for the cost, I think the parents should pay for it. It will save them money by narrowing down a child's choices. Polos from Aeropostale are $10 a piece. Compare that with $25+ shirts that you see in Belk and other places and you'll see that this has the potential to save parents some money.
