Do you think the $1 million fine for King Finishing violating its Ogeechee River permit is a fair penalty?

The way of these typical EPA/EPD fines is a amount of one million dollars is announced and then appealed down to fifty thousand and is written off taxes and considered cost of doing business. I have heard a local news babe state on local station that EPA had in statement placed blame on King for the fish kill and again this is not true their statement accessed no responsibity in the fish kill and the fine was for violation of discharge permit so the EPA is still "blocking" for king.

There is mo excuse for what King America has done to the Ogeechee River.
Their management must have some friends in high places to continue dumping their waste as if nothing has happened. They're obviously not worried about it. If the people we pay to protect the enviroment were doing their job, King America would be shut down until they remove their discharge pipes from all water ways.
