Hill tips off hoops camp
            Statesboro coach Lee Hill kicked off his annual basketball camp Monday at the SHS gymnasium. The camp is conducted by Hill and a long list of friends and family willing to lend a helping hand. It consists of an 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. portion featuring second through fifth graders and a 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. portion featuring sixth through ninth graders.

Double Duty: SEB works youths on soccer, softball
            The seventh annual Southeast Bulloch girls’ soccer and softball camp kicked off Wednesday morning at the SEB sports complex in Brooklet. The camp, which fields 20 to 25 girls annually — ages ranging from third to eighth grade — focuses on teaching and developing basic skill sets for the girls.
