Ilers celebrate 61 years Mr. and Mrs. Sands C. Iler of Shellman Bluff, Ga., celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary with family and friends on April 26th, 2008. The couple was married April 26, 1947, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Savannah. They lived in Statesboro for 10 years and then semi-retired to Shellman Bluff. They have five children, Gwenn and Adrian Chester and Sandra and Don Dobbins, all of Statesboro; Gary and Evelyn Iler and Ron and Glenda Iler, all of Shellman Bluff; and Glenn Iler of Tybee Island; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mercers celebrate 15th Kelvin and Melissa Mercer will celebrate their 15th Wedding Anniversary with a Reaffirmation Ceremony to be held on May 31, 2008, at 4 p.m. at the New Corinth Baptist Church in Nevils. A reception will immediately follow at the Southern Links Golf Course Ballroom. The couple has four children, Josh, Alesha, Nichole and Kelvin Jr. All friends and family are invited to attend. |
