William James and the Honey Bowen Building are the only two polls open for today's City of Statesboro elections. In City Council District 1, incumbent Tommy Blitch is opposed by Benji Lewis and Bill Thomas. In District 4, Lottie Johnson, Fred Parrish and John Riggs all seek to fill the vacant seat.
