      Mr. and Mrs. Johnny W. Collins of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Dell Collins, to Matthew Jason Hutcheson, son of John and Ann Mason of Lyons, Ga., and Hugh and Emalyn Hutcheson of Waynesville, N.C.
       The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Doris Herrington and the late Eldon and Larie Herrington of Sylvania, Ga., and is the paternal granddaughter of the late Willard and Ruby Dell Collins of Statesboro. Jessica is a graduate of Statesboro High School and is currently attending Ogeechee Technical College. She is employed part-time at Kayce's Pet Parlor.
       The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Luckie M. Moore and the late Emory Maxwell "Mack" Mixon and the late James Moore and is the paternal grandson of the late Lester and Meagan Hutcheson. Matt is a graduate of Toombs County High School. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Master's in Public Health. He is currently pursuing an Engineering degree at Georgia Tech.
       The couple has planned to wed on December 5, 2009, at the Statesboro First United Methodist Church at 4 p.m.
       No local invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
