Georgia Southern Head Coach Chris Hatcher told us the 2008 season was going to be a wild ride. And it was.

The 6-5 season had its ups and downs, but never lacked drama. Four overtime games (three of them wins). Seven games decided by a touchdown or less.

Make no mistake. Hatcher would rather be stalking the sidelines during the FCS (Division I-AA) playoffs instead of piddling (his words) at home during the Holidays. But he predicts a bright future for Eagle Nation and is raring to go in 2009.
