A woman has filed papers in the Bulloch County Courthouse alleging comedian Chris Rock is the father of her child.

Kali Bowyer submitted a claim on March 15 claiming she and the former Saturday Night Live star had a child together that was born in March 1994. She's asking for reasonable child support, medical coverage and attorneys fees.

Sherri Akins, Bulloch County clerk of court, said she's not sure if Bulloch County has jurisdiction over the case and therefore, a date hasn't been set for a hearing. She did say Bowyer has indicated an attorney is going to file a motion to determine if the Bulloch County court can hear the case.

If that motion is filed within the next few days, Akins said the issue of jurisdiction could be settled at a hearing in May and if it's determined Bulloch County had jurisdiction, the case could possibly be set for June.

Since the filing, Akins said it's been "crazy" around the courthouse with reporters and tabloids seeking information on the case. In fact, she's been contacted by Entertainment Tonight and Inside Edition who were requesting any information they had on the case.

Bowyer told the New York Daily News that she and Rock were in the same group of friends.

"I wouldn't even call it dating," she told the paper. "We were two consenting adults who had sex once in a while. No strings attached."

Chris Rock's publicist could not be reached for comment.
