Mr. and Mrs. James M. Higgins of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Kathryn of Statesboro, to Brice Daniel Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Scott of Sylvania, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Brown of Downey, Calif., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Higgins of Corbin, Ky. She is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University and currently attends the Medical College of Georgia, pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J D. Scott of Sylvania and Mrs. H.L. Mock and the late Mr. Mock of Sylvania. He is employed by Cintas Corporation in Augusta, Ga.
The couple plans to wed on Saturday, July 18, at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Statesboro.
