Three men injured in a knife fight early Saturday morning at The Grill were taken to the hospital for treatment of cutting injuries, according to Statesboro Police reports.
Police named four men as suspects; at least one of whom was among the injured needing treatment, reports said. However, it was unclear as to who caused the injuries, and reports listed the weapon(s) as a "knife or cutting tool."
Someone called Bulloch County Central 911 around 1:15 a.m., saying a fight was taking place at The Grill, a restaurant located at the corner of Brannen Street and Fair Road.
Listed suspects were all from Statesboro. Two were 20 years old; one was 19 and one was 18. All were male, reports stated.
The case remains under investigation, and charges of aggravated assault with a knife or cutting tool and battery could be pending, according to reports.
Anyone with information regarding the fight is asked to contact the Statesboro Police department Criminal Investigations Division at 764-1542. Calls will remain confidential.
