Bulloch County Sheriff's investigators arrested three men Wednesday, charged in the April 15 armed robbery of The Store in Register, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson.
Federal Bureau of Investigation special agents from the Statesboro office were also involved in the investigation that resulted in the arrest of Tamario Martell Jones, 19, Amilie Road, Claxton; Andrew Jarrod Weaver, 21, Jim Cannady Road, Collins; and Kiri Datron Lovett, 18, Morris Street, Vidalia, he said.
The store clerk alerted authorities after having been robbed while cleaning up shortly after the store closed that night, he said. Bulloch County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene and began collecting evidence. The clerk was not injured during the robbery, he said.
All three men are charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, he said.
None of the suspects are being held in the Bulloch County Jail at this time, having been jailed elsewhere on other charges, he said.
Jones is being held in t he Montgomery County Jail " on related charges with a detainer for Bulloch County," he said. "Weaver and Lovett are being held in the Toombs County Jail on related charges, with detainers for Bulloch County."
The Store in Register is located at the intersection of Kennedy Bridge Road and Ga. 46.
