Carl Swearingen, chair of the State Board of Technical and Adult Education for Georgia, visited Ogeechee Technical College recently to address college employees, as well as local OTC Board members. Following a luncheon in Swearingen’s honor, a tour of the campus was conducted to allow Swearingen to see the various programs available at Ogeechee Tech. The chairman met with a number of college administrators and faculty members one-on-one to discuss first-hand the needs of the college, and the chairman’s vision for the college and the system in general.
