On Aging with Dr. Roger Branch Sr.: Meeting the grief challenge

What can I say? What can I do? Death and the storm of grief that follows can challenge the best intentions of supportive friends. There is no bandage for this injury, no balm for this pain. Nonetheless, help is needed and there are good things to say and do.

Parenting Advice with John Rosemond: Motivation key when choosing private school

Q: We have just moved and are seeking a new school for our two children - 6- and 8-year-old boys. They are smart, respectful of adults, and creative. Parenting Advice with John Rosemond: Parents must not try to reason with kid

Q: Our 18-year-old daughter is a month away from high school graduation and she is failing nearly every class! About six months ago, she took up with a group of young adults who are less than desirable, to say the least. Some of them are dropouts. I suspect drugs and alcohol. Finally, in desperation, we took her car and her smart phone away and told her she can't have them back until she possesses a high school diploma. If she fails ...
