Local Roundup: Chartered bus to Portal game

There will be a chartered bus to take Portal fans to Macon to cheer on the Panthers in their Final Four appearance Wednesday against Hancock Central. Local Roundup: Bennett named Player of the Year

Earlier this week Region 3-AAAA met and choose the All-Region girls basketball team. Statesboro's Monnette Bennett was chosen as the Player of the Year and coach Jeff Seier was awarded the Coach of the Year. Also representing Statesboro were seniors Gwen Jones and Victoria Mikell who were selected as first team members.
