MORGAN COUNTY – A tough Morgan County squad wore down the just-as-tough Portal team to come away with a 15-7 win over the Panthers.
For the second straight year, the Portal Panthers will pack up and hit the road to North Georgia to take on Morgan County, a team that kicked off 2006 by knocking off PHS 28-12.
PORTAL - The Portal Lady Panthers took on the Hornets of Savannah Country Day Thursday evening, and once again fell just short after keeping it tight for a majority of the game, dropping the contest 6-3.
When I started this gig as an intern in the summer of 2004, I hadn't ever fathomed I'd visit some of the places I have. Luckily for me, I love a good road trip, discovering new towns and taking in the little traditions of Friday night football in southern Georgia.
