Turkey hunters prepare for open season Saturday

Georgia's turkey hunters are anxiously looking forward to the upcoming weekend. The 2012 season opens Saturday, March 24th and runs through May 15th this year and the roughly 50,000 hunters scattered across the state are poised to take to the field. There are turkeys in all of Georgia's 159 counties and even though they are not evenly distributed there's a chance to bring home a gobbler regardless of where you live. Outdoor Life - March is the favorite month of bass fishermen

I've written several articles over the fall and winter about how to catch largemouth bass during those specific times. The truth of the matter is that those who constantly go in search of old bucket-mouth are just trying to find a way to get through those cold months and catch enough fish to avoid going into a deep depression. November is the favorite for deer hunters, and the duck hunters love January, but March is the month bass fishermen come out of the closet in earnest.
