Eagles tame Wildcats with 14-1 win

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Georgia Southern worked its way into Davidson's bullpen early and never looked back taking a 14-1 win away from Wilson Field Friday afternoon. Andy Moye worked seven innings, while Eric Phillips launched a grand slam in the second inning, moving the Eagles to 32-19 on the year and 18-8 in Southern Conference play. Davidson dropped to 19-28, 5-21 with the loss.

Eagles top Wildcats, 15-13

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson brought the winning run to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning and staged a late rally scoring seven on two outs, but Georgia Southern worked out of the jam and closed out a 15-13 win Thursday evening at Wilson Field. Georgia Southern moved to 31-19 overall and 17-8 in Southern Conference play, while the Wildcats dropped to 19-27, 5-20.

Eagles bring brooms on the road

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Georgia Southern scored in seven innings en route to a 14-8 victory over Furman Sunday at Latham Stadium. The win completed the regular season sweep over the Paladins after taking a doubleheader on Saturday. Eagles starter Andy Moye picked up the win as GSU improved to 26-19 overall and 16-8 in Southern Conference play. Furman watched its record dip to 13-29, 5-16.
