GSU Football Notebook: Learning curve starting to level for Eagles

Big offense helps Mocs sock GSU

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - It was all well and good at halftime, as Georgia Southern led Chattanooga 20-14, but early in the third quarter when the Mocs had the ball on 4th-and-21 from the 23-yard line, they had the No. 21 Eagles right where they wanted them.

GSU Football Notebook: Offensive line works on execution

The transition from the spread passing offense to the triple-option attack has been harder on some positions than it has on others, and that was especially evident in Georgia Southern's 33-31 loss Saturday at home against Wofford, as the offensive line appeared to take a step back after the 38-21 win over Elon on September 25.

My Take: Terriers the better team... just barely
