It's been roughly two weeks since Army announced Jeff Monken as its next head football coach, and there has been a lot of innuendo and speculation since. Amidst the rumors is one fact that has risen to the top - it would have been nice for Georgia Southern if the coaching staff stayed put during the program's transition to the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Eagles' non-conference football games set for 2015 season

Georgia Southern has obligations for four non-conference football games for the 2015 season with games at Georgia and West Virginia and home contests vs. The Citadel and Western Michigan, Director of Athletics Tom Kleinlein announced today. Kleinlein also scheduled Kent State for a home-and-home series for 2018 and 2019 in the construction of the Eagles' future non-conference schedules.
