GSU golf releases 2010-11 schedule

The road to Stillwater, Okla. at Karsten Creek Golf Club for the 2011 NCAA Golf Championship begins September 6th in St. Andrews, Scotland as Georgia Southern Coach Larry Mays announced the 2010-11 schedule. The trip to Scotland for the International Collegiate and to Baton Rouge, La., for the David Toms Intercollegiate are the only tournaments new to a schedule that is otherwise consistent with last year's list of tournaments.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Both the Southern Conference football coaches and the SoCon Sports Media Association have selected Georgia Southern for a seventh-place finish in their respective 2010 preseason polls. Both polls tabbed Appalachian State as the preseason favorite to win the league crown in 2010 with seven top votes from the coaches and 22 from media members.

Eagles' non-conference football games set for 2015 season

Georgia Southern has obligations for four non-conference football games for the 2015 season with games at Georgia and West Virginia and home contests vs. The Citadel and Western Michigan, Director of Athletics Tom Kleinlein announced today.
