Eagles' Showers arrested in dispute

Georgia Southern football player Kentrellis Marquis Showers, and a woman, Jomeshia Jquana Slaughter, were arrested at their Cambridge Pines apartment early Saturday morning after Statesboro police responded to a call about a verbal altercation that turned physical, according to an incident report.
