Delma E. and Beverly B. Presley recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with members of their family. The couple was married at the First Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia, on June 17, 1961. They moved to Statesboro in 1969 when Del joined the faculty of Georgia Southern University. Celebrants included their daughter, Susan Presley, and Toby Aldrich of Savannah, and sons and families of Statesboro, Worth and Lori Presley and Edwin and Traci Presley. All four Presley grandchildren, Amy, Will, Brock and Chandler, enjoyed the occasion.
