Donald and Faye Donaldson of Statesboro, Ga., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on New Years Eve 2008. The couple was honored recently at a dinner held at the Beaver House, hosted by their children, Wayne Donaldson of Statesboro, Ga., Cindy Cook of Huntsville, Ala., and Sherri Collins of Sylvania, Ga. In attendance were six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several other family members and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. John Ray Stalcup of Stilson celebrated their 50th anniversary on the 25th of October at their residence. The couple was married in 1958 at "Preacher Thompson's house" in Statesboro. They have four children, the late Montiece Morris of Brooklet, Deborah Stalcup of Rocky Ford, Lavinia Martin of Newington and Becky Ward of Clito; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Nash of Brooklet recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary at their home. The couple was married on September 20, 1958, at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Savannah. Mrs. Nash is the former Peggie Dickerson of Brooklet, daughter of the late Lawrence and Velma Dickerson of Brooklet. Jerry is the son of the late Elizabeth and Theron Nash of Springfield, Mo., and is retired from UPS. Harold and Elizabeth "Betty" Faille will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary on September 24, 2008. They were married in 1933 in Kingston, N.Y. They have lived in many places, including South America, becoming residents of Statesboro in 2005. They currently reside at Willow Pond Assisted Living. Their family, Richard (wife, Jean) of Blairsville, Ga., Grace of Statesboro and Harold Jr. (wife, Kathryn) of Auburntown, Tenn., joins in congratulating them on many years together. They have been blessed with five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
