Priestley pleads guilty in Campus Crossings murder

A man charged in the Dec. 2009 murder of an Ogeechee Technical College student pled guilty Monday to murder and other charges. Bulloch County Superior Court Judge William T. Woodrum sentenced Darryl Anthony Priestly, 18, McDonough, to life plus 10 years.

Elderly Brooklet woman dies in house fire

85 year-old Francis McElveen has been identified as the victim of a Brooklt house fire Sunday. Bulloch County Public Safety Director Ted Wynn said McElveen lived alone, although she had home caregivers who were not present when the fire started.

Man pleads guilty in Campus Crossings

The man suspected of murdering 19-year-old Brandie Danielle Davis at Campus Crossings in December of 2009 pled guilty in an appearance in Bulloch County Superior Court today. 18-year-old Darryl Anthony Priestly, charged with the strangulation murder, gave no motive and made no statement while entering the plea. Priestly plead guilty to charges of murder, tampering with evidence and giving false statements to police. He also waived all rights to future appeals.
