A teenage victim of a March 10 shooting at Luetta Moore Park remains in critical condition, and police are still offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect still at large.
A local man is behind bars, held without bond on a child cruelty charge, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson.
The message was of hope and change Monday at the Bulloch County Relay for Life's 25th "Silver" anniversary celebration and Survivor Dinner.
The annual parade of athletes followed by a fireworks display will kick off the recreation department's baseball and softball season Friday at Mill Creek Park. The event, now in its eighth year also includes music, exhibition games, tattoo art and the traditional first pitch of the season.
