Boy, 11, injured in Lydia Lane fire

An 11-year-old boy suffered second-degree burns Tuesday night when his family's Lydia Lane home was destroyed by fire. Quick action by Statesboro firefighters likely saved the child's life, and he was flown to a burn center in Augusta, said Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner.
