"That was fabulous!" "We thoroughly enjoyed it!" were comments heard as theater goers exited the Emma Kelly Theater this past weekend. Averitt STARS has once again brought a fun, lively musical to the Emma Kelly Stage as they presented the Broadway musical hit, "Mame."
On Highway 80 heading north from Statesboro sits William James Middle School. In addition to 550 students and 38 teachers, the school has a team of three counselors who assist the faculty and staff.
As Spc. Malinda Odom held her 15-month-old son Jase, it was clear who she'll miss most on her upcoming deployment to Afghanistan.

In spite of threatening weather, hundreds braved the rain to pay tribute to Dr. Michael Guido, world-renowned evangelist whose joyful voice and "Seeds from the Sower" ministry made his name a household word.
The Center for Irish Studies in partnership with Locos Restaurant in Statesboro will play host to Harry O'Donoghue for two nights, Monday and Tuesday. Admission is free.

Registration for kindergarten classes along with the lottery for Pre-K in Bulloch County schools begins Monday. All elementary schools now have a Pre-K program and so do Statesboro High and Southeast Bulloch High.
