Police look for suspect in auto break-in

Miniature horses victims of attacks

A pack of stray dogs attacked several horses and a calf on Pulaski Road Sunday near the Bulloch/Candler county line, resulting in emergency surgery for three miniature horses. One of the horses, as well as the calf, died Tuesday.

Sallie Zetterower Elementary will mark a milestone Thursday when it holds its final Fall Festival at the school on East Jones Avenue. The new Sallie Z. school is in the final stages of construction and is on schedule to open when students return from Christmas break in January.
