Statesboro man arrested for burglarizing church and forging checks

A man whom police say stole a car last month returned to the scene of the crime Saturday. He stole a wallet from a car before burglarizing a church, then forged a check taken during the crimes and tried to cash it, said Statesboro Police Capt. L. C. Williams.
