On the final day early voting for the Statesboro City Council on Friday, 199 individuals came out to cast their ballots. The Georgia Southern Botanical Garden will holds its annual Farm & Forest Festival and Plant Sale today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival allows children of all ages to see what farm life was like back in the 1920s and 1930s through arts & crafts, games and activities. Bulloch County was named along with Griffin, Savannah and Valdosta-Lowndes County to receive a total of $2.2 million in state grants during the 29th Annual Keep Georgia Beautiful Awards Luncheon in Atlanta.
