The Georgia State Patrol Honor Guard presented the colors during the dedication ceremony for the new Georgia Bureau of Investigation Region 5 Office to the memory of GBI Inspector Johnny McGlamery Wednesday. McGlamery, a native of Statesboro, retired in December of 1987 as an inspector with the GBI after serving 31 years in state law enforcement. McGlamery was a graduate of Georgia Southern University and of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Program.
