Evermore Farm Interscholastic Equestrian teams place in top four at finals

Middle and high school age students have been doing a bit more than horsing around at a Brooklet equestrian facility. The Evermore Farm Interscholastic Equestrian Association Future and Varsity equestrian teams both placed in the top four out of 36 teams recently at the IEA Zone Finals held at the Olympic Horse Park in Conyers.

Sen. Jack Hill to speak at coalition's summit April 26

State Sen. Jack Hill and Georgia Southern alumnus Fred Stokes will be the guest speakers for the African American Business Owners Coalition's Economic Empowerment Summit on Saturday, April 26. The summit starts at 8 a.m. and runs to 3:30 p.m. It will be held at the Nessmith Lane Continuing Education Building on the campus of Georgia Southern University.
