Faculty, staff and students of Georgia Southern University will come together Wednesday morning for their annual Honors Day Convocation. Held at the Performing Arts Center, the university will honor their own with more than 200 awards, including Professor of the Year.

Dallas Brass to perform Saturday

One of America's most versatile musical ensembles is coming to the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Georgia Southern University.

The Dallas Brass will perform in concert at the PAC on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. A highlight of the performance will be a joint performance with the Dallas Brass and bands from Statesboro High and Southeast Bulloch High.

Relay for Life comes to Brooklet Elementary

Swing into Spring Friday at Mill Creek

The annual parade of athletes followed by a fireworks display will kick off the recreation department's baseball and softball season tonight at Mill Creek Park. The event, now in its seventh year, will also include music, exhibition games, tattoo art, balloons as well as the traditional first pitch of the season and comments from local dignitaries.
