Wells Fargo stagecoach stops in Statesboro

An original Wells Fargo stagecoach made a stop in Statesboro Tuesday to help the local branch celebrate a ribbon cutting of their new location on South Main Street. The appearance of the stagecoach marks the firm's move from Savannah Avenue and the changing of its name from Wachovia Securities to Wells Fargo Advisors. The Stagecoach program has been in place since 1958. Wells Fargo owns 11 historic stagecoaches, which are currently on display in museums. The stagecoach that came to Statesboro was a replica. The coach will be drawn by horses in today's St. Patrick's Day Parade ...
