Third victim in 301 South crash dies

A third victim in a fatal accident on U.S. 301 South last month has died. Eight-year-old Aina Smith passed away Tuesday morning after battling injuries sustained in the accident for weeks, said Georgia State Patrol spokesperson Norma Willis.

Cat believed dead in fire Monday is alive and well

A cat believed to have been killed in an East Grady Street house fire Monday is alive and well. Angel has a burned paw and singed tail, and may have used up one of his nine lives, but owners Christie Palley and her fiancee David Lanier were pleased to find the cat survived the blaze that gutted their home.

300 attend annual Nan Rushing Write-Off
