Incumbent Butch Parrish swept away with the race for District 156 Tuesday night, pulling in more than 68 percent of votes with 90 percent of all precincts reporting.

A woman driving on the wrong side of the road early Saturday morning remains in stable, but serious condition after a collision with an oncoming car, police said.
