Brooklet United Methodist Church Associate Pastor Jay Williams carried a cross down Highway 80 East from Brooklet to Savannah Thursday afternoon. Williams said he was making the 40-mile journey as inspiration for the youth of his church. "They don't care how much you know until they know how much you care," he said, as he walked along the highway.
