Local churches collect donations this week for Operation Christmas Child

Across the world each year, children who have never had a Christmas gift, a toy or even their own towel or toothbrush receive presents through Operation Christmas Child, an effort through Samaritan's Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization.

Habitat to build “House 50”

Joyce Baldwin and her teenage son, Jordan, have lived in their own home for over 21 years - the second house in Bulloch County built by Habitat for Humanity.
