GSU swine flu rumors unfounded

Only seven cases of swine flu have been identified at Georgia Southern University since June, and only one of those cases has been diagnosed recently, said Dr. Brian DeLoach, GSU's Campus Health Services director.

Doctors: John’s Place is unsafe; director disagrees

Citing an unsafe work environment and inadequate staffing, three doctors, including the medical director, resigned earlier this month from John's Place, a mental health and addictive diseases treatment center in Statesboro. Official complaints were filed with the overseeing state agency and an investigation is under consideration.

I-16 crash survivors in stable condition
