Almost a year after a major fish kill that was linked to contamination, state officials claim the Ogeechee River is safe for fishing and swimming.

The U.S. Marshal's Service is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the capture of Ricky Jacktavian Mosley, who escaped from a transportation officer Tuesday, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson.
