Sue Hodges dies Monday at age 65

Friends of Sue Stabler Hodges agree that she was a "gracious, giving person," and recalled fond memories of Hodges Monday. Hodges, 65, passed away Monday after an extended illness at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.

Area charities seeing drop in donations this year

With less than a week away from Christmas, things aren't looking that great for several families in the area need in help with Christmas. Last year, the Christmas in the Boro and Bulloch efforts served 250 families. This year, only 175 will be helped, and it's a stretch filling those needs.
