Ask Dr. Gott 4/17

DEAR DR. GOTT: I am writing in response to the person who had a frustrating itch deep inside the ear. Since I am very familiar with ear problems, I wanted to share my experience. I have had many appointments, first with my personal physician and then with three different ENT specialists over a period of about seven years. It was always the same treatment of drops and antibiotics. Relief would come for a short time, and then the itching would start again, over and over.

Kathy Bradley

I had an opal necklace. It was a gift - a small stone set in gold on a narrow gold chain. I wore it every day. I would unconsciously finger it while I was on the phone or watching television. When I looked in the mirror it reminded me of lots of things, including the fact that opals are supposed to be good luck for those born in October, but bad luck for anyone else. I was, fortunately, born in October.
