GSU club wrestling finishes 5th in nation

The Georgia Southern University club wrestling team attended the NCWA National Championships in Hampton, Virginia this past weekend, bringing home a 5th place finish as a team in the Division-II standings, its first All-American in over a decade, and first ever national champion. The field saw 79 teams from across the country; 25 at Division-I status and 54 at Division II. Georgia Southern took 5th as a team in D-II and 16th overall as a team in the entire tournament field.
