BA wins in extra innings

Afforded the opportunity to play at J.I. Clements Stadium, the Gators of Bulloch Academy seemed to want to stay on the field all night. Bulloch battled arch rival Pinewood to a 6-6 stalemate through the regulation seven innings before mounting a huge rally to claim a 12-11 victory Tuesday night.

Portal riding high after region championship

Slowly but surely, the Portal Panthers' girls track team are beginning to etch their name in the school record books. Last year, the track team crowned its first state champion in Unique Mosley. This year the girls accomplished hoisting the school's first region title in girls track.
