A Statesboro man was killed Monday in Metter after losing control of his vehicle, according to Georgia State Patrol reports.

Relamping program begins at GSU

Georgia Southern University kicked off the Relamping Project 2009 this week. About 500 of the new bulbs were installed by volunteers Monday. The project, in partnership with Georgia Power, will replace approximately 2000 incandescent light bulbs with the more energy-efficient fluorescents.

Dooley in the Boro - Georgia legend coming to the Mall
