Police Report - December 6

    Note: All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement incident reports and arrest records, which are public records and available for review at any and all local law enforcement agencies.  Not every arrest leads to a conviction. Statesboro Police Arrests     
    James J. Tanner, 26, Jet Drive — possession of a controlled substance and possession/use of a drug-related object.
    James Kelsey Rock Jr., 19, Teal Circle — burglary, possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
    Kadeem Rashad Parrish, 17, Continental Road — burglary, possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
     Taliek Wright, 17, Cotton Avenue — burglary, possession of tools for the commission of a crime.    
    Vincent Lamar Carter, 18, Allen Circle — burglary, possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
    Millard Williams Jr., 74, West Jones Avenue — theft by taking.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests    
    Arrests unavailable.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued nine traffic violation citations  Tuesday.
            
Georgia Southern University Arrests
        Officers issued one traffic citation Tuesday.
        
Statesboro Police Incidents    
    GARDEN DISTRICT APARTMENTS — A woman told police someone stole a digital camera from her desk.
    JET DRIVE — A woman said her husband injured her hand when he grabbed Oxycontin from her. He was arrested on drug possession charges.
    SUMMIT APARTMENTS — Police apprehended a juvenile runaway from Jasper County, SC.
    VARSITY APARTMENTS — Police responding to a call about a burglary in progress    discovered someone forced entry through a window. Officers located the offenders nearby and arrested them.
    WILDWOOD VILLAS — A woman said her grandson went into a neighbor's apartment by invitation and found a plastic lawn chair she had reported stolen a few weeks ago. The woman in whose apartment the chair was found gave it back, stating she found it in the roadway and believed it had been discarded.
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS — A man said he let a woman borrow a coat to wear, and when she returned it, $130 cash was missing from a pocket.
    LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS — A woman called police when her juvenile son yelled and cursed at her when she asked him to move his bike.
    EARL'S AUTO SALES — A man reported two vehicles - a faded blue GMC Sierra pickup with a ladder rack and a faded blue Dodge Ram van -were stolen.
    LAKEVIEW ROAD — A man took $150 worth of scrap metal that was not his. He returned it but was charged with theft by taking anyway.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents    
    KENDRICKS ROAD — (Brooklet) A man told deputies someone cut four pines trees and drove through his property.
    BOWEN AUTO SALES  — (Statesboro) A man reported a burglary an listed a Smith and Wesson .357 revolver and a set of Snap-On deep well sockets.
    BEAVER CREEK LANE — (Statesboro) A woman said her ex-husband's girlfriend came to her home and attacked her in front of her children.
    SHADOW LANE — (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance, but the parties involved both said the argument was not physical and they only had a verbal disagreement.
    KING ARTHUR DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man said someone stole his mail box.
    RIDGEWAY DRIVE — (Statesboro) A  man told deputies someone destroyed his mail box and toilet papered two trees and a car in his yard.
    OLD HAPPY LANE — (Brooklet) A  woman said another female tried to start an altercation at a convenience store  , but the complainant's boyfriend stepped in and stopped it. The female offender followed the victim home and was asked to leave. The issue stems from an old argument over a boy at school, according to reports .        
    NEVILS-DAISY ROAD — (Nevils) Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute . Sheriff's incident reports did not offer     any details regarding the incident.
                                     
Georgia State Patrol Incidents    
    Troopers issued nine warnings, made one emergency relay of blood or medical supplies, assisted four motorists, and investigated six crashes with eight reported injuries Tuesday.
        
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    COLLEGE OF EDUCATION — Someone reported a book bag was taken from a vehicle in the parking lot.
    WATSON HALL —  Someone reported a case of simple battery.
    KENNEDY HALL — Someone issued a loud noise complaint.
    OLLIFF HALL — A complainant said several books were taken from  the premises.
    Officers issued two traffic warnings Tuesday.
    
911  Law Enforcement Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 12 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 12 calls.
    University Police Department — one call.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — five calls.
    Brooklet Police — two  calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.
    Claxton Police Department — one call.
    
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — one call.
    Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — one call.
    Metter Fire Department — one call.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Tuesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls and 14 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — no medical call.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed  one call to the Poison control center; a call to the Bulloch County coroner; three calls to Emanuel County 911; a call to Tattnall County 911 and a call to Bulloch County Animal Control.
