SEB to host Blue Devils in new gym

Text Size: Small Large Medium
BROOKLET — The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets will host their first game in their brand new basketball facility today as the Statesboro Blue Devils come to town to take on SEB for the second time in the young 2007-08 season.
The game takes place on “Community Night” for the Jackets — a night where people from all over Bulloch County are welcome to check out the new gym on the newly remodeled Brooklet campus.
“We just wanted to invite our community out to to see our beautiful new facility,” said SEB boy’s hoops coach John Page. “It’s really just an open door (for people) to see the first home that is going to be played in that stadium.”
SEB will run promotions throughout the season in the facility, which holds over 1,200 fans.
“It’s really going to be a college-game type atmosphere,” said Page.
