Statesboro Police Arrests

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests    
    Arrests made Tuesday will be published Thursday.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 15 citations Tuesday for traffic violations.
            
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      No arrests filed.
        
Statesboro Police Incidents    
    No incidents filed.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents    
    PLANTATION TRAIL — (Statesboro) A man reported two portable toilets at a construction site had been turned over, and the storage box on his backhoe was emptied. A residence adjacent to the site, also under construction, was damaged as well. That home's owner reported paint cans were emptied onto the walls and windows, nails were scattered all over and holes were knocked into the walls. The offenders left Natural Light beer cans in the home, too.
    TEAL CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman said a witness saw a man she knows as "Bae Bae" strike her mobile home with his hand and throw a stick at it. Deputies noted minor dents in the home.
    WILSON ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman called her daughter and granddaughter when she heard someone outside her home tell her dog to "lie down and shut up." When the other women arrived, they were searching the area near the victim's van and heard an unknown object strike the window, shattering it. Responding deputies did not find the offenders.
    BROOMSTRAW TRACE — (Ellabell) A woman told deputies a man took her blue 1987 Toyota pickup without permission.
    CHANCES MOBILE HOME PARK — (Clito) A woman told deputies a juvenile male entered her home and took two cell phones and a video game.
    PEARL LANE — (Ellabell) A man said another male had been playing loud music, beating on the complainant's door and screaming at him and his younger sister. The offender was arrested for disorderly conduct.
    GEORGIA AVENUE — (Statesboro) A deputy was in traffic at a stop light and observed a man jump from a vehicle and start a fight. The victim suffered a laceration to  the ear, and  the offender was charged with disorderly conduct and battery, then deputies learned he had outstanding warrants as well.
     LANGSTON CHAPEL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — A student damaged a school bus with a knife.
    PLANTATION MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A man said he was cleaning out a residence and put a refrigerator outside to air out. When he checked again, the refrigerator was gone.
    JESSIE HOLLOWAY ROAD — (Portal) A man said someone stole a motor jack that belonged to his brother, who is incarcerated.
    MONARCH CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman said she was driving her daughter to Trick or Treat when a man hollered at her to slow down. She told the man to kiss her (rear end) and he retorted by calling her a vulgar name with racial overtones. The man told deputies he did yell at her to slow down but denied cursing at her. He said the woman got out of her vehicle and pushed him.
    WOODYARD LANE — (Brooklet) A woman said someone stole a digital camera and $105 in cash from her home.
    BIRD ROAD — (Statesboro) A man approached a deputy who was backing up another deputy on an unrelated case, and asked to report a battery incident.
                                                     
Georgia State Patrol Incidents    
    Troopers issued 14 warnings, assisted two motorists, made one emergency relay of blood or medical supplies, and investigated one crash with no reported injuries.  
        
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    KENNEDY HALL — Someone reported three books were taken.
     Officers issued three traffic warnings, investigated one traffic accident, assisted five motorists and one sick person, and responded to one alarm Tuesday.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — nine calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 21 calls.
    University Police Department — one call.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — one call.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — four calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — two calls.
    Claxton Police Department — one call.
    
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — five calls.
    Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — one call.
    Metter Fire Department — two calls.
    Claxton Fire Department — one call.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Tuesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one fire call and 11 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — three medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed a call to Tattnall County and a call to Treutlen County.
